Find what you need for your skates from laces, runners and footbeds. Keep your skates feeling like new!
From blade guards to premium hockey skate laces, Pure Hockey offers skate accessories for every player and goalie. Hockey is a punishing sport, and feet and skates take a lot of abuse. Our hockey skate accessories take care of both so you can stay at peak performance on the ice. Protect your runners off the ice with a pair of skate blade guards. We offer traditional terry skate guards from Howies and A&R, and a selection of walkable blade guards for both hockey ice skates and roller hockey inline skates. Our hockey skate blade covers come in a variety of popular team colors. When you’re traveling, even if it’s just to the rink and back, a hockey skate bag protects your blades from nicks and scratches. When it’s time to replace your runners, browse our selection of replacement blades from CCM, Bauer, and other trusted brands. You’ll find the most technologically advanced designs in the sport as well as solid sets of reliable runners for rec league and pond play.
As any player knows, the quality of hockey skate laces matters. Find durable, dependable waxed and unwaxed laces at Pure Hockey from Bauer, A&R, Elite Hockey, Howies, and other makers. When lace bite strikes, combat it with gel pad inserts for the tongue of your skate to protect the tops of your feet. We offer gel pads for Achilles tendons and ankles, too. Our selection of top-quality hockey skate insoles will further customize the fit of your skates for optimal performance and comfort.
Pure Hockey carries the best hockey skate accessories on the market. Enjoy the best prices on these products, thanks to Pure Hockey’s low-price guarantee. If you’re a new player or new-to-hockey parent shopping for a first pair of skates and need expert advice, consult our Resource Center to learn how to fit hockey skates and for general guidelines to hockey skates.
Players have several options to make their hockey skates more comfortable. If you’re breaking in brand new skates, try baking them or having us professionally bake them for you at a Pure Hockey store. Lace bite, top-of-foot pain caused by pressure against the laces while skating, is the leading cause of foot discomfort for hockey players. Ease lace bite by switching to more comfortable laces (or change out your waxed laces for unwaxed and vice versa), try a different lacing pattern, and invest in gel pads to place between your skate tongue and your foot. We also offer gel pads for the Achilles tendon area as well as the ankles. For bottom-of-the-foot pain or arch discomfort, add a pair of cushioning insoles inside your skates. Assuming your skates fit properly, you can make your skates more comfortable using these few key accessories.
