Bauer Supreme S190 Intermediate Goalie Glove

Bauer's Supreme goalie gear is back and better than ever! Featuring a cleaner, more streamlined design Bauer cut a ton of weight from their pads, without having to make costly sacrifices elsewhere. First, they did away with the stitching, seams. and designs on the face of their pads, and the new digitally printed graphic results in a more detailed, and more importantly cleaner finish. Aesthetics aside, this provides more predictable and durable pads across the board. The inclusion of their Poron XRD Foam is another big plus for the supreme line this year. The foam is dependent on the reaction of urethane molecules when stressed at a high rate, or impacted quickly. When this happens, the urethane molecules temporarily "freeze" forming a protective shell that has conformed to your body. So all that added protection in the palm will make glove saves more comfortable , but how about more frequent? Bauer's One Piece Free Flex Cuff allows for maximum movement without sacrificing protection. Meanwhile the glove's additional back segmentation lets goalies fully and more easily close the glove for precision control. Meanwhile, a deep SINGLE-T pocket reduces weight, and excess materials. While the glove's webbing minimizes rotational impact on handling shots and provides better overall rebound control.

Keys to a Proper Fit:

  • The goalie's fingers should extend out to the end of the finger stalls of the inside palm to ensure a proper fit. However, any more than 1/2" from the tip of the goaltender's finger to the end of the finger stall and the goaltender will not have the leverage needed to properly close and control the glove.

  • The heel of your hand should line up with the heel and cuff of the catcher. If not, the proper balance between the cuff and catching portion of the glove may be disturbed, making the glove too cumbersome while sacrificing protection.
