Keys to a Proper Fit:

  • The goalie's fingers should extend out to the end of the finger stalls of the inside palm to ensure a proper fit. However, any more than 1/2" from the tip of the goaltender's finger to the end of the finger stall and the goaltender will not have the leverage needed to properly close and control the glove.

  • The heel of your hand should line up with the heel and cuff of the catcher. If not, the proper balance between the cuff and catching portion of the glove may be disturbed, making the glove too cumbersome while sacrificing protection.

What are the major differences between The EFlex 2 and 3?... Is the EFlex3 worth paying more for than the EFlex 2 that's on sale?

Asked by: jackie272
The E FLex III is CCM's newest catch glove that they offer. One main difference is going to be the pocket. The II has a single-T pocket, while the III will have a double T pocket. The III expands fully and creates a bigger obstacle for glove-side shooters and shots. CCM redistributed the blocking surface area to offer more blocking surface to the corner of the cuff. The new look of the E-Flex 3 cuff contains similarities to that of the CCM 590 glove
