The Premier P2.9 blocker from CCM is the latest installment of the mid-price point blocker for 2018. A lot of great features pack into this blocker to bring a high performing blocking surface for ultimate rebound control.
The latest addition on the Premier family, including this P2.9 blocker is the addition of SpeedSkin technology to the exterior. This external material is an embossed synthetic material that will hold up to wear and tear longer which carried over from the 2017 Extreme Flex III line. Another change on this blocker is the elimination of the sure-grip palm material, being replaced by the Nash palm material. The Nash palm provides unmatched feel that the sure-grip material was lacking in.
The anatomical and adjustable cuff allows for freedom of movement while making a blocker save and while playing the puck. The bindingless face allows for maximum blocking surface and increases durability over the life of the blocker with no binding to fray and tear. The palm position is centered for increased balance and control.
Measure your hand from the heel of the palm to the tip of the middle finger, then consult the chart below to find the size that will work for you.

Key to a Proper Fit:
The blocker should be fitted based on hand size. The goalie's fingers should be no more than 1/4" from the end of the fingers in the palm. If the fingers are too long, chances are the hand tabs that tie down the palm to the blocker are too large. This will cause the blocker to wobble, tilt or rotate on the goaltender's hand, seriously affecting control while limiting coverage (blocking surface).
