The LT98 Ventus goalie pants are an excellent option for goalies looking for a large but mobile pair of pants. The LT98 is constructed with a barrel-like fit around the waist, providing tons of room for goalies to tuck in their chest & arm protector or leave their pants looser. The standard nylon belt, lacing and suspender buttons give goalies the options they've come to expect when needing to customize the fit of the pants. Vaughn has designed the thighs of the LT98 to be exceptionally large while naturally falling inward, helping seal off the fivehole. HD Foam floaters reside on the upper thigh to optimize protection.

The internal part of the pants now utilizes denser padding than on the old LT90. There is also more padding inside to ensure both comfort and protection. The upper edge of the LT98 is contoured to provide better spine protection than its predecessor. Vaughn has also widened the crotch gusset on the LT98, which allows for greater rotational and stretching motion. The internal liner is a high grade sport mesh which is light, abrasion-resistant and quick-drying, providing premier performance.

  • Wide waist design for loose fit or tucking the chest & arm
  • Larger thigh padding that naturally collapse in for five-hole sealing
  • Denser internal padding for more protection
  • Wider gusset for increased motion

I am stuck on sizing. I am 5'9-5'10 and 185 pounds I am a 32-34 inch true waste, I usually don't tuck but may start. I just went downsized from a large chest protector to a medium vaughn because of mobility and shorter arm length.I currently wear Large RBK Pro pants with inner belt. They sag a bit and if weren't for the inner belt they would fall off. I am not a suspender guy. Would Medium or Large be best?

It sound like a large would be best for you.
