The S27 skates offer a softer feeling boot with a cowlingless design that increases energy transfer for lower, more aggressive pushes in the crease. The cowlingless design of the Supreme S27 is the same one used on all Bauer goalie skates for the past two years. Thanks to this design, goalies can push across the crease with more strength at an industry-leading sharper, lower angle.

Inside the S27, the redesigned boot ankle offers a new shape and improved padding so the skate heel fits more comfortably around the goalie’s ankle. The asymmetrical, 48-oz. two-piece felt tongue with high-density metatarsal guard provides support and flexibility while helping to reduce lace bite. 

Outside the S27, an asymmetrical fit with a higher inside heel edge gives goalies all the comfortable support they need while providing maximum freedom of movement. Quarter panels on the S27 skate are made with a Texplate layering that offers needed protection, with support inside the boot and plenty of flexibility outside. The larger, upgraded Lundqvist heel loop provides increased durability and accommodates all types of bootstraps for goalies who prefer to use them.

Beneath the foot, Bauer’s Form-Fit footbed will provide the goalie’s foot an extremely comfortable fit, while the S27 outsole features a lightweight TPR composite build designed for maximum support. The Vertexx Edge holder is designed for the goalie who demands uninhibited movement inside the crease but with ultimate bite. The Supreme S27 features LS1G stainless steel blades.
