CCM Extreme Flex II 860 Goalie Blocker

The highly successful CCM Extreme Flex line of goalie gear has been revamped and upgraded in 2015 in order to offer you an even more premier pad than in the previous E-Flex models. The 860 Blocker offers you a soft and comfortable gray nash palm with some added high-density foam for the sidehand protection. Like it's predecessor, the E-Flex 500, it also features a centered hand position to balance the weight of the blocker over your hand and to help you get the blocker to high, rising shots. As with the rest of the Extreme Flex blocker line, the Extreme Flex 860 features a bindingless design that will offer a maximum surface area on the blocker face for the most possibly net coverage. If you loved the E-Flex 500 blocker, the Extreme Flex 860 will make total sense for you!

 Key to a Proper Fit:

The blocker should be fitted based on hand size. The goalie's fingers should be no more than 1/4" from the end of the fingers in the palm. If the fingers are too long, chances are the hand tabs that tie down the palm to the blocker are too large. This will cause the blocker to wobble, tilt or rotate on the goaltender's hand, seriously affecting control while limiting coverage (blocking surface).

Is there a major difference in the blocker face (with regards to the board thickness and overall reinforcement) compared to the pro model?

Asked by: Trevor31
Most of the differences will come in the form of hand, sidewall and palm upgrades with the pro. The blocking board itself is pretty much the same.
