CCM Premier Pro Senior Goalie Glove

Mobility and Fit

Born from the first one piece glove to gain acceptance in the NHL, this year's Premier Pro Glove gets the D30 treatment, along with a few other redesigns that improve comfort and performance. An anatomical hand strap redesign has improved comfort and feel on the puck, and allows for quicker easy adjustment when on the ice. Finally, we haven't heard of too many pads that were more game ready out of the box than this Premier Pro line, meaning adjusting to a new pad has never been easier.

Protection and Durability

D30 foam has found it's way into a variety of CCM's protective gear over the last couple years, and with good reason. The D30 smart foam technology can be found throughout the catching surface of the glove and offers multiple advantages. In addition to enhancing the protective properties of the glove, the D30 also helps absorb shock and increases the size of the glove's catching area and sweet spot.

Measure your hand from the heel of the palm to the tip of the middle finger, then consult the chart below to find the size that will work for you.

Keys to a Proper Fit:

  • The goalie's fingers should extend out to the end of the finger stalls of the inside palm to ensure a proper fit. However, any more than 1/2" from the tip of the goaltender's finger to the end of the finger stall and the goaltender will not have the leverage needed to properly close and control the glove.
  • The heel of your hand should line up with the heel and cuff of the catcher. If not, the proper balance between the cuff and catching portion of the glove may be disturbed, making the glove too cumbersome while sacrificing protection.
