The Super Tacks AS1 Goal Skate is the newest innovation in goalie skates from CCM. A revolutionary 1-piece boot combined with a minimalistic holder/cowling that gives protection where you need it and freedom where you don’t are just a few of the new features from CCM.

Starting with the boot, CCM revolutionized hockey skates in 2016 with the release of the Super Tacks player skates. They continued that success with the FT1 player skate and now 1-piece boot technology that is specifically designed for goalies’ movements and performance needs and for a more enhanced fit is here.

The goalie specific design is comprised of a one-piece boot with a dual stiffness profile. A more flexible upper provides additional comfort and helps the goalie’s foot movement for better power pushes. A super stiff carbon composite under boot helps provide excellent energy transfer and responsiveness during power pushes.

The asymmetric flex stance contour is comprised of a lower cut boot collar, shaped and molded to allow the goalie to flex deep into the stance for a fast butterfly drop and to also benefit from extremely quick recovery and speed to power-push position.

The attack profile holder is a new-age holder engineered with a minimalist design to provide goalies with a best in class angle of attack and significantly reduced weight, all while offering the protection they need. Inside the holder you will find the prolite G Black runners. These runners are a carbon treated steel runner that will hold an edge longer than normal stainless steel to keep your pushes strong late in the game. 

Other features you will find on these skates include a totaldri pro liner with durazone abrasion protection for ultimate moisture wicking performance, a D30 comfort footbed with extra comfort and support specifically for goalies, and a boot strap loop for goalies who prefer to have their boot strap behind the heel.
