The shell construction of the X8 is made utilizing multiple layers of high quality fiberglass and kevlar to create a shell that is very rigid and light weight. This rigid shell is lined with high-impact absorbing padding providing protection from severe forces helping to reduce concussions and ear ringing. When SPORTMASK set out to design the new X8, they didn’t want to just meet our customers’ expectations; they wanted to significantly exceed them! The new X8 mask is largely based on its big brother, the T3, while offering a more affordable alternative for goalies not wanting all the features of the more expensive T3.
