Vaughn has introduced the Ventus SLR catch glove new for 2017 that offers more carbon protection and great coverage for all goalies.
The design of the SLR catch glove has a wider open pocket area than the previous LT98 along with a carbon fiber reinforced T-web. Carbon fiber is also used in the palm, thumb, and cuff for maximum protection for goalies.
The SLR houses a reinforced 45” perimeter with a grip inner hand base to allow goalies to maintain stability at all times.
A padded wrist strap gives goalies a customized fit with the great adjustability to give goalies as snug of a fit as they desire. The cuff on the glove is flared back for increased wrist movement which is great for goalies who love to play the puck.
The SLR Pro Carbon is allow heat moldable for a custom fit and quicker break in time.

Keys to a Proper Fit:
- The goalie's fingers should extend out to the end of the finger stalls of the inside palm to ensure a proper fit. However, any more than 1/2" from the tip of the goaltender's finger to the end of the finger stall and the goaltender will not have the leverage needed to properly close and control the glove.
- The heel of your hand should line up with the heel and cuff of the catcher. If not, the proper balance between the cuff and catching portion of the glove may be disturbed, making the glove too cumbersome while sacrificing protection.
