Accompanying this fit profile, the NME VTX mask has integrated industry leading lightweight VTX technology with Poron XRD foam and advanced molded foams to create Bauer’s most innovative liner to date for elite level protection and comfort. 

TeXtreme Composite technology is a manufacturing process exclusive to Bauer in hockey that creates an extremely strong material while cutting tremendous amounts of weight. The NME VTX goal mask is the lightest goalie mask in its class, however it still provides a pro level of protection designed to withstand pro level impacts. The NME VTX goalie mask is also designed to withstand wear that is common on many goal masks with an outer edge wrap and reinforced metal chin to fight against chipping. 

The wire cage on the Bauer NME VTX goal mask is the new hybrid non-certified cat-eye with reinforced post grooves for limited movement and a lightweight high-performance mask.
