Bauer has upgraded the shell of the 940 from previous iterations with a new full fiberglass shell, designed to decrease and dampen vibration. This lightweight outer shell has been engineered to lower weight without sacrificing the strength of the mask.

This mask also features a redesigned liner with their popular IX foam crown with dual layered comfort foam all through out.
