CCM Extreme Flex II Leg Pads
The CCM Extreme Flex Pro II Goalie Leg Pads are built off of the success of the original Extreme Flex Pro pad. The notable changes include a re-designed internal core and lightweight strap set-up, but they still feature some traditional CCM style that we loved from the past EFLEX pads! From the single break to the and 3D injection molded EPP foam knee block, they've brought back some favorite key features.
Extreme Flex II Pad Features
The EFlex Pro II Pad features the classic, pre-curved, single break internal core to offer the goalie additional coverage and quicker five hole closure. Additionally. the internal boot foam has been re-engineered to provide increased torsional flex. This allows for maximum pad control and provides you with more explosive crease movement. CCM has also introduced a lightweight strap set-up which reduces the overall weight of the pad. This set-up features a single knee strap, two calf straps, and a removable boot strap. This system combines with CCM's updated tight-fit leg channel to offer superior comfort and control!
CCM utilizes a "Floor to Knee" fit guide to determine the proper leg pad size to meet your needs. To determine your "Floor to Knee" measurement, measure the distance from the floor (in bare feet) to the middle of the knee cap, straight up, knees slightly bent. Find this measurement in the chart below, then look at the number above it to find your pad size.
If fitted properly, the goalie's knee should rest in the center of the knee cradle with the pad securely attached to the goal skate and properly strapped on the goaltender's leg. Generally, this will ensure that the pad breaks (bends) at the knee/shin and ankle as designed for optimal performance.
