CCM Premier R1.9 Senior Goalie Leg Pads

 The Premier R1.9 Leg Pads are a product of the Elite Leferve factory and touts the lightest injection molded foam core since Premier made its debut. The thinner profile cuts weight and enables a deeper, more complete fit. The new profile also enables a deeper stance and minimizes interference with the rest of your gear. This combined with PE foam Knee Raisers helps to seal the pad to the ice throughout movements. Further weight reduction in the leg channel plus a revamped single knee and calf  strap optimize movement and leg rotation. This makes transitioning into the butterfly and reverse VH stance a breeze, closing down that 5-Hole better than ever before. 

The high density foams that allowed for the improved profile are also a notable improvement in their own right, and are engineered to improve the center of mass and reduce weight in key areas in order to maximize the pad's performance. The pads also feature a new strapping system thanks to CCM's work with the University of Western Ontario, replacing a variety of leather straps with Velcro enclosures to minimize weight. However, the improved Pro Strap System under the knee and above the calf is built with high end pro leather to ensure it lasts for the long haul, and holds as snug as possible over the life of the pad.
