The Tacks 9080 goal skate from CCM is a great mid-price point option with a lot of value. Some of the features that carry over from the top of the line AS1 include the new attack profile holder and Prolite G Black runners, the asymmetric flex stance and the molded lace-bite protection on the tongue. 

The 9080 Boot structure will be a little softer and not as stiff as it’s pro-level upgrade. However the 9080 quarter package is still a 3D-lasted composite construction, meaning these skates will withstand a mid to elite level of play. 

If you are a mid to elite level goaltender looking for good performance skates, but either do not skate every day or are not ready for a pro-level skate the Tacks 9080 Goal skates are a great option at the mid-price point.
