The True Catalyst 7X6 leg pads feature a 30 percent increase in thigh rise stiffness, paired with a more rigid knee stack, enhancing seal to the ice when dropping down and facilitating easier redirection of pucks. The 7X6’s also have a new 40 percent thinner thigh rise, allowing for easier transitions in cross crease movements.

The loose-fitting leg channel combined with the FRS strapping system allows for optimal leg positioning and pad rotation. The new knee stack construction and improved rigidity provides greater stability. Combined with the stiffer thigh rise, it allows for more pressure on top of the pads in butterfly, leading to an even better seal to the ice. The recessed knee block features a hyper absorbent knee stack for enhanced protection from repeated impacts.

These pads also have a shallower in-step on the boot for increased transition speed and faster pad rotation. For the toe ties True uses Pro Laces elastic system bungee cord with skate lace taking pressure off your hips and knees in the butterfly and RVH.
