The ION Pro blocker features a large HD blocking board reinforced with composite to provide significant rigidity throughout. Upgraded from the SLR4, ION features a new angled back hand pad to improve the squareness of the blocker, this design also helps easily direct and control rebounds.

This blocker has a stiff internal high-density laced in HD sidewall, along with a new thumb opening for reduced stick resistance. The palm of the blocker is made from VX suede with an antimicrobial grip overlay which helps grip the stick but also keeps your hand from sliding around the palm during play.

In the wrist of the blocker Vaughn has included an open cuff, with an adjustable wrist strap to create a secure custom fit. While the sideboard features a stiffer high-density shield with carbon layering wrapped in HD foam.
