The Warrior Alpha Surge leg pads feature a 1-piece core with a stiff upper thigh, and medium stiff below the knee. The Surge has a HyperComp reinforced knee drive system, giving you more stability in your butterfly with a more consistent seal on the ice. Upgraded from the G7 RTL, the Surge feature Warrior’s new Advanced Fastening System where the knee and calf blocks are secured by rigid C-shape HyperComp brackets elevating the overall stability and slide ability of the pads.

Warrior has completely redesigned their outer calf wrap on the Surge with a thinner nylon strap designed to add mobility and responsiveness in transitions. On the inside of the pad Warrior has also added a fully adjustable calf strap, ensuring a locked in, responsive tailored fit for individual play styles.

The outside of the knee cradle has a removable and replaceable cutting edge slide plate designed to minimize ice friction for lightning-fast lateral slides without sacrificing energy. The bottom of the pad has Warrior’s adjustable ARS toe and heel straps taking pressure off your hips, ankles and knees in the butterfly and RVH.
